Today, biorefinery, where biomass is processed based on fuel- and bulk chemicals production alone, suffers from low economic feasibility (and lack of circularity, by the way). 

We valorise biorefinery by:
1. Providing a vertical cascade extraction solution to the biorefinery value chain, both upstream and downstream, by co-producing valuable bio-active phytochemical compounds (upstream) and intracellular microbial compounds (downstream)
2. By optimizing the biomass fiber properties toward core biorefinery processes
